Preparation
- Sauté ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula until fat is released.
- Add diced onion to the skillet and cook until tender (4-5 minutes). Stir in minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper, cooking for 30 seconds. Transfer the mixture to a 6 Qt slow cooker.
Slow Cooker
- Add rinsed and drained black and kidney beans, diced tomatoes, diced tomatoes and green chilis, and tomato sauce to the slow cooker. Stir to combine and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours. Season to taste and serve warm.
