Main Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 8 oz packages cream cheese softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 8 oz cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls

Equipment

  • Small bowl
  • Electric mixer
  • 9x13 inch baking pan
  • Waxed paper

Method

Preparation
  1. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
  3. Spray a 9x13 inch pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly across the bottom.
  4. Unroll one can of crescent dough, press all seams together on a lightly floured waxed paper, then carefully transfer and press it into the pan over the cinnamon sugar to reach the edges.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the first layer of dough. Unroll and prepare the second can of dough similarly, then place it on top of the filling.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar over the top layer of dough and bake at 350°F for approximately 30 minutes, or until it turns light brown.

Notes

For best results, ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature to achieve a smooth and lump-free filling.
